A warm Welcome to the Blacksmiths Restaurant

Raymond and I look forward to serving you, and we will try in every way possible to make your night an extra special night to remember. At the Blacksmith's we are committed to quality and freshness. We use only the finest ingredients as fresh as we can possibly get them.  Nearly all of the fish and seafood served is bought directly off the fishing boat and straight to the table with only a short pit-stop in the kitchen.

The majority of herbs used in the cooking process are grown by us in the kitchen garden, together with a selection of the vegetables when in season.  There is always a vegetarian option should you require it.

All the food is cooked to order by our Head Chef Steve.  Steve was trained at the Connaught in London and has travelled the world cooking in such places as Guernsey and South Africa before settling here in Bigrigg

If you have any special dietary requirements or allergies, do not hesitate to let one of us know.  We have a small intimate restaurant with only 9 tables, so please book in advance to make sure of your table.  Once you have arrived your table is yours (so to speak) for the whole evening.  We won't hurry you to make way for someone else.  We won't chase you home at the end of the evening if you would like another night cap.

The dining rooms have been decorated in a warm cosy way to make you feel at home.  No glaring candelabras or starchiness here - it's just like having friends for dinner.
