Starters

Blacksmith’s soup of the day

 Duck and goose pate served with toast and grape chutney

  Chicken and pork pate served with grape chutney and warm toast

 Chilled melon with strawberries and kiwi fruit

 Haggis traditionally served on a swede puree with a red wine sauce

 Fresh sardines pan fried with rosemary and garlic served with a tomato sauce

Chicken and diced gammon gently cooked in a cream leek sauce topped with puff pastry

 Lam steak gently cooked with rosemary and garlic served on garden herb mash wit a red wine sauce

 Escalope of turkey pan fried with button mushrooms and finished in a cream sherry sauce

 Local pheasant served with mushrooms and sage dumplings in a red wine sauce

 Fillet of salmon baked in puff pastry served on a cream dill sauce
