Starters

 

Blacksmiths soup of the day

Duck and pheasant pate served with warm toast and grape chutney 

Smoked mackerel red onion and apple salad tossed in a lemon and mixed herb dressing 

Chilled melon with strawberries and kiwi fruit served with a raspberry and mango coulis 

Haggis traditionally served with swede puree and a light red wine sauce 

Local black pudding served with tomato chutney and a whisky and peppercorn sauce

Chicken and diced gammon gently cooked in a cream leek sauce topped with puff pastry

 Lightly spiced lamb kofta cooked in a red wine and tomato sauce served on mashed potato 

Boiled ham shank served on mashed potato with alight us and crab apple jelly 

South African Yellow Tail served on sliced potatoes with a tomato and basil sauce 

Escalopes of turkey served in a mushroom and marsala wine sauce
