Blacksmith's Soup of the day

Pheasant and chicken pate served with warm toast and grape chutney

Penne pasta served in a rich cream Parmesan sauce with diced bacon

 Haggis traditionally served on swede puree with a light red wine sauce

Chilled melon with strawberries and kiwi fruit served with a raspberry and mango coulis

Smoked mackerel and red onion salad with sliced potatoes and a lemon dressing

Chicken and diced gammon gently cooked in a cream leek sauce topped with puff pastry

 Slow roast shoulder of lamb served on garden herb mash with a Madeira wine sauce

Local pheasant pan-fried with chipolata sausages and served in a red wine and lentil jus

 Escalopes of turkey served in a light tarragon sauce topped with bacon onions and mushrooms

Salmon in puff pastry served on a cream dill sauce
