Starters

 

Blacksmith's Soup of the day

Duck and venison pate served with warm toast and grape chutney

 Chilled melon with strawberries and kiwi fruit

 Button mushrooms gently cooked in a cream garlic sauce served in a delicate pastry case

 Haggis traditionally served on a swede puree with a light red wine sauce

Mains

Chicken and diced gammon gently cooked in a cream leek sauce topped with puff pastry

  Spiced lamb kofta served in a red wine and tomato sauce on garden herb mash

  Pot roast pheasant in a lentil and red wine sauce with chipolata sausage

  Escalopes of turkey pan fried in garlic butter served with a mushroom and marsala wine sauce  

Fillet of salmon pan fried in pesto butter served on sliced potatoes with a tomato and basil sauce
